My dog had a snake backed up in the corner the other day and I went to see what he was up to. I didn't know it was a snake at first and then I saw it. It was a cottonmouth!! That crazy fool was trying to get hold of that snake. So I got my hoe and made the dog get back. I killed that thing but it was so mad it moved for about 2 hours after I killed it. Crazy dog!
Wow. We have copperheads, and rattlesnakes way out in the middle of nowhere, but I've been lucky enough not to have to beat one with a hoe to save my dog.
I'm so glad we don't have snakes like that where I'm from. The only snakes I've ever seen are garter snakes. Those I don't mind but they do bite and I have been bit by a couple. It only feels like someone shooting staples into your fingers.
