I have it a briggs & Stratton of 100000 Series, i have find information of 140 inc pund , when i number that too nm been that 15.93 nm.looks like to much too 5/16 bolts.

what are the realy Torque of headbolts of this engine

FWIW - my old Kohler K321 single cylinder engine with cast iron block & heads has 3/8" x 2.5" head bolts, and the recommended torque specs for that is 25-30 Lb/Ft = 300-360 Lb/In.

140 inch lbs is not too much for 5/16 bolts. Current spec for some B&S engines call for 200 inch lbs for 5/16 grade 8 head bolts.

I just checked the B&S Service Manual and it calls for 140 inch lbs for that series of engine. Have no idea what that is in metric.

Much easier to use online conversion programs but the formula is in/lbs x 0.112984825 = nM or in this case 140 in/lbs = 15.8178755 (15.82) nM
