Ok, I have question for the Briggs experts out there. I've replaced some carbs on some twin Inteks latley b/c choke shafts being sloppy & sucking air. Had to replace the Carb on my own 23HP Intek last year for same the problem. Some of the carbs I pull off have what I'd call a "restrictor plate" between carb & intake just as mine does. My question is - Will the engine gain some hp/rpm without the plate? Been thinking bout pulling mine out if it'll boost the horsepower a bit. Thanks in advance, David.........
