I changed spark plugs, cleaned the magnets on the flywheel and coil, removed the ground wire from the coil, but could not get a spark. The gap between the coil and the flywheel is .010. The ohms between the coil legs and the spark plug wire lead, and the coil ground wire lead and spark plug connection is 5.45K ohms. I removed the flywheel and was surprised I could not find ignition points.
The engine ID# is 2K02 0258 040406FB
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Looks like you are missing some parts of the model number. I am going to guess and say 123K02-0258-E1 And with the ground wire disconnected from the coil and no spark is the test for the coil. No spark replace coil. Resistance readings are meaningless due to the fact you cannot property test the system without very expensive meters.

And Briggs hasn't used points in 40 years. Also make sure to get the flywheel properly torqued to prevent flywheel key from getting sheared on startup.
