I have a friend with a Troy-Bilt walk behind mower that has a Briggs EXi engine (104M02-0004-F1). She has had two fuel caps vibrate loose and come completely off. It uses 594061 fuel cap, which is a cam type that turns 90 degrees. Just wondering if this is a common problem, and has Briggs given a solution?

Those caps are kind of hard to get back on. Guessing the loss of caps is they weren't installed all the way and locked down?? Briggs knows how to make caps you would think.

My dad has a Toro with a 190cc Briggs 7.25tq engine. It has one of those quarter turn fuel caps. Not a fan. Give me an old 4-5 turn job please.

Cap shouldn't vibrate off. Check blade for Balance or bent Crankshaft.
