B & S elbow

A B & S elbow on my mower, Walbro carb I believe. Does the plastic part spin on the brass? It "came apart" while removing the fuel line and I'm wondering if it will still work. If not, is this a press in part and how to remove the old part? Also thought about just clamping the fuel line directly to the brass piece from the carb.

It just presses in. It should work just fine pressing it back in. Always has for me. But when you put the fuel line back on just check it to make sure it doesn't leak.

Curious...B&S parts dealer says these fittings are not available. They do tend to crack, anywhere I can buy these?
