B&S 20HP OHV Single Cylinder Intek has me scrathing my head

I've been working on this machine for the past couple of weeks and cannot seem to figure out what is going on with this machine.
If I try to run this thing in full throttle it is like the choke is on, blowing black smoke and if I can get the video to load here you hear it popping etc.
Things that I have done so far.
Cleaned and replaced internals in this Nikki carb, and I mean cleaned multiple times and there are no blockages and it doesn't have the famous Nikki leak.
Replaced the head gasket and cleaned up the valves. Getting 120 on compression test and no leaks.
Adjusted the valves.
Thought maybe I had a sheared flywheel key. Pulled the bolt out and everything is lined up as it should be.
I'm wondering now if maybe I have an ignition that is possibly going bad.

Didn't loose the jet out of the bottom of the plastic emulsion tube did you. They like to fall out and don't get noticed.

I don’t recall seeing anything in that tube. I’ll pull it and have another look.

Just opened this carb back up. I think/ hope your thoughts are where the issue lies

Looks like the jet is missing. It slides down into that tube from the top. and has an O ring on it, and likes to fall out when you take the carb apart, and then disappears. Post the model type and code of the engine and we will be able to lead you toward the correct missing jet.

Just finally got the jet from snail mail.
Installed it and I think it is fixed. I haven’t mowed with it yet, and that’ll be the true test, but definitely running much better.
