So I am looking to buy a push lawn mower, I live in Florida and my yard is pretty much flat land, but the front yard is where the septic tank is so the front has a pretty good slope going down to the road. I currently use a push FWD mower and just not happy and ready to upgrade. I have been looking at either a Husqvarna AWD with a Kohler engine, or a Craftsman AWD with briggs engine or a RWD. I am looking to spend around $300.00. Any good buying tips???

I just purchased the AWD at Lowe's for $299. AWD can be cumbersome to get used to, like anything else. Seems to be a well-designed mower. This has no side discharge, but I will always mulch anyway. Has a hose attachment for cleanout. I have the handle set too high, so I did feel fatigue in my hands from manipulating the drive speed as I maneuvered around my 4,000 sq. ft. Hopefully adjusting the handle will resolve that. I am 54 years old and do have some tennis elbow which tends to be easily aggravated. Good luck. I have been through many mowers, they never last for me and I don't endeavor to repair them very often. I would love for this thing to last.
