I was cutting the swell( ditch) I put it in Reverse, I heard a whining like a power steering pump on a car, Then no movement in either direction... can anyone explain potential problem...???
What transmission is on that machine. Look underneath for a name and model number of the unit. Could be the release mechanism that allows the mower to be pushed around by hand.
The model number would be nice as we have no idea what mower you have except it is an Ariens with a 20 HP engine. They made a lot of those in ZRT and Lawn Tractor.
