Auction mowers for sale

I have an opportunity to bid on some mowers at our city auction.

I bought a JD LX277 2 years ago for $125 that I repaired.

The big Exmark mowers are diesel, 27HP...I know nothing about diesel. But, the prices are enticing, though they will go up.

Here is the link. I hope...it will work until July 21st...

Went to an inspection at this auction. They started up several cars for me and my friend.
The mowers they did not have the keys, but I would think the two will start as they say they will.
These are huge mowers...72 inch cut with 27 hp diesel. I don't know a thing about starting a diesel.

I am interested in the Troy-bilt at about $200 or less.

I don't know much about the odd...front deck John Deere F525 all it says is that it will not start. that seems to have a Kawasaki engine about 17-19 hp

would you buy a 27HP diesel Exmark?

In my younger days I'd may buy the 27HP for a project but it would be at scrap iron price.

Even converting to today's AUD the current bids are way
high for a <2005 unit. Diesel AC being what it is.

Buuut as they say. "it's what the market will bear".
Cash gone, hauling mower home I would be concerned as
to what the romance of auctions cost me, that day.
