Hi from Australia.
Have a Dixon Speedztr 44 with a Honda GXV530 engine. Bought as new from a neighbour with 200hours & it runs beatifully & does everything that I want but. The "experts" tell me that I must not put anything in the trailer or cut up a hill of any sort as the transmission will fail. Surely the transmission cannot be that weak that it will fail under these conditions.Must say that when going up a slope I can hear the Trans working & going down no noise at all. Can someone tell me if the "experts " are right.

I had a ztr with that same transmission. I pulled small spreader behind it on occasion. But the ZTR transmission you have will not take a steady diet of it. Wouldn't even think of taking a trailer up a hill with it.
Here is a link to the owners manuals which tell you NOT to pull anything with the mower. I would avoid it if possible and certainly not anything over 200 lbs.
