I've got the replacement rubber, yet am wondering if anyone can guide me on how to put the new rubber disc onto the plastic wheel?
There is not enough room between the body and the hex shaft to take the plastic wheel off the shaft, so I either have to rotate the rubber onto the plastic body, or perhaps loosen up the transmission/hex shaft body to get a bit more space....
Any suggestions?

I've been procrastinating at replacing mine also. So far I've gotten by spraying some adhesive onto the disk to get by. So far 3 months so good...
*BUT* i think it is remove the horizontal orange bar then the shaft with the pulley will have enough play that you can lift it up and slide the wheel off.
Thanks for the quick response. After I posted my question, I went out and put the rubber disk on the driveway and let it get hot, which increased it's stretch-ability. I was able to then put it onto the plastic wheel after that. I'm guessing your plan will also work!
