Mower runs great, but when I stopped it after doing my lawn, I have a LOT of grease on my inner right rear wheel. What could it be from?

Thanks for any input,
Lou

Inner right wheel of what? You have given not enough information for a proper diagnosis. Grease is normally only used on front wheel pivots, spindles, and swing arm parts. Also, need the Model number of the mower. It is on a sticker under the seat or on the frame somewhere.

The model number is 93609500. The grease was on the rear right wheel (inside of wheel where it was attached to the axle). Since then I took off rear tire, wiped everything up, and I see no cracks etc... I put the wheel back on and I have mowed again, and it didn't happen again. I'm just perplexed because I have no idea where the grease came from.
