Hello
I would appreciate any help with a couple of issues with my Ariens sport zoom 1232.
#1: the deck wants to push to the right. The clutch actually hits the deck lift rod when lowering/raising the deck. If I push the deck to the left it would clear. There is about 1/2" play left/right. I don't see any adjustments for left/right only up/down. The pto belt was just replaced due to shredding the other one on the rod I believe. This turned out to be a lot more difficult than it should be. The belt seems short from clutch to rear pulley. From what I know the belt should slip on and then be held in place by the tension spring arm. So, deck shifted belt too tight to sum it up
#2: hard to start when cold. The battery seems fine, but have not tested it. It starts fine all summer when it's warm but as soon as it gets colder or gets left outside when it's colder it won't turn over. Push it into the sun or hook up the charger and it starts. The sun actually works faster. I have tried jumping it with a warm/good battery and it still struggles to start/turn over until it warms up.
I appreciate any help you may have!!
