Anyone have any firsthand knowledge about the new Simplicity Courier?

That little bugger looks pretty cool for $2999. Decent rubber, cool seat, 4 wh suspension, fab deck w/roller. Seems like a pretty good value!

Looks nice except 2 things.
Mower Deck Removal Frame Mounted Meaning hard to remove
Anti-Scalp Wheels Rear Roller Meaning it is going to scalp the lawn.

Am I correct in thinking that Simplicity, Ferris , and Snapper are all owned by Briggs & Stratton and share the same stuff?

I know Simplicity and Ferris are. I considered both before I bought my new mower.

Have you looked at the Spartan line of mowers. I just happened across them. Full commercial Spartan SRT-Pro 61" Mower - $6899 Very good looking mower.

They do look nice and heavy built, I read somewhere that the original owners of Bad Boy are the owners of Spartan.

Seems legit! Haha, I didn't know that but I did look at the website and if I needed a mower that big I'd have given them a hard look. Love the way they look all around and that seat looks like it would be very comfortable.

I do want one. If only they had a front deck mower.

There's no arguing they are a pretty cocky looking unit. They may be even Flawless for many years to come on the quality control issues. Then again when we see manufacturers that have been around for many many years make mistakes.....
My instinct tells me we'll know more in 3 or 4 years how good they really are and I'm not sure I want to be the lab rat on the first ones....lol!
