If you do repairs to a number of engines then you it might be worthwhile to use an ultrasonic cleaner.
There are recommended cleaning agents for ultrasonic cleaners.
Some people use water and soap to rinse them out after they have been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner.
Just make sure to dry out everything.
If you use air to dry a carb, Make sure it's LOW pressure.
I've used the out flow from a shop vac.

Used one for a time before I got my Sharpertek. Didn't work too bad, a little slow, could use more power. have to reset the timer several times before the carb will be clean enough. My sharpertek is 180 watts and sometimes I wish it had more power. I think the HF one is 60 watts for the larger one, with 100 watts heating. My Sharpertek is 180 watts cleaning and 600 watts heating.
