All generator, pressure washer and mower have the same carb!

Or so it seems to me. How interchangeable are these? If so that would be great for testing. My eyes are bad but they seem almost identical.

BTW, am I right in thinking with my mower carb shown by itself has that extra linkage to have the throttle the default position choke spring closed where either either closing of the throttle opens choke half way or the thermostat pulls the choke open completely? I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to play the expert here on this part. Just this part. 20240316_181434.jpg20240316_181455.jpg20240316_181747.jpg

they could all have the same carb body but have all different jetting.

Hmm I actually need a jet and gasket for the mower one so we'll if either pressure washer jet or another mower carb jet I have works. And maybe I'll put on my reading glasses and see if I can see a difference

The 2 on the left hand side look like there is an airbleed port below the mounting hole on the left. Also be aware of venturi size as well as jetting.

Ah, I see that. And venturi is the most narrow space inside basically?

The throttle plate side which is what you see in your bottom pic. Top 3 pictures show the choke plate

What's the air bleed for? Just curious. Always trying to understand how these work

I've watched a few over the years. Not much sticks. And I wonder what about the generator and pressure washer call for it but not for the mower

Do you happen to know what is different about the needs of the generator and pressure washer?
