ALKO solo Cutting blades cutting out when running at high revs fine at low revs.

So i have an ALKO solo.
All starts and runs fine, however after about 10mins the cutter starts to cut out and wont restart. I then have to turn it off and start it back up but then it runs for about a minute before the same, grass cutter starts cutting out. Turn off start repeat.

now i have noticed that when this happens if i slow the engine RPM's right down it stays engaged for far far longer. Ive tried swapping all the relays over but no joy.

Any direction appreciated.

Sounds like you have a coil which has either a hot short or hot open condition. Next time it happens immediately check for spark.
