Air filter issues

I replaced carb and air filter on 125cc Briggs and Stratton engine. It will only run without air filter. Any ideas?

If you purchased the carb off Amazon or FleaBay you probably have a defectIive carb. Most of the techs on this forum have found this out the hard way. We always recommend buying from a reputable local or online dealer.
