Been mulling over the idea of adding a sunroof to my ZTR. There are a TON out there and, of course, everyone says theirs is The Best.
The one I keep coming back to is RhinoHide.
Anyone own one of these - or any other brand??? I am very curious. I gravitate towards RhinoHide mainly because the material for their roof is HDPE. All of the others either use some sort of cloth or, in the case of the 'heavy-duty' units, ABS. My prior experience with ABS is that it tends to be thin & rigid/brittle, is very prone to UV damage and cracking over time, plus very little in the way of being forgiving when it comes to impacts (thinking low-hanging branches here). That scares me off. I work (and am familiar) with HDPE. Even in thinner sheets it is much more robust and sturdier structurally.
They all (except the umbrella-type cloth jobs) seem to retail in the mid-$200 range. That still seems a little steep. (Or am I just cheap? LOL)
Anyhow.. thoughts and/or advice is welcome & appreciated.
