I replaced the pull cord on a Troy Bilt, Briggs and Stratton 6.5. The mower would start then die. Now it will not start at all I think this is because there is not gas in the bulb ( prime) left. When I try to prime the mower I do not hear gas nor smell gas. I am thinking I blocked something, did not do something right. I was so proud of myself for putting that cord on until the mower would not start :-(. If anyone would give me some advice that would be great!!!
My pressure washer does the same thing it will start for a little then dies. Did not replace nothing on that. After washing the house the washer starting doing that. Worked fine while washing the house.

If you feel that you have done something wrong when you fixed the pull cord, then start by taking off the cover (blower housing and have a check to see if you have a fuel line somewhere where it shouldn't be. Prime the fuel while the cover is off to see if it does work.
