Advice on a used Ferris ZTR

I have an opportunity to get a 2014 Ferris ZTR IS 2000 for $6,700 from a local dealer. Total of 240 hours. Thoughts on the price and what I should look for? Also what do they go for new?

I'm a homeowner so not commercial with 5 acres of old farm field and bumpy and dusty terrain.

Thanks in advance.

I may be wrong but I dont think the is2000 you are looking at is a 2014 model. It may be a 2013. The 2014 version of that mower would be the is2100. 240 hours on a mower like that is nothing. If it was properly maintained and there are no issues with the deck or drive train then that is a fair price. They sold for between $8k and $9k new. Try offering the dealer a little less to see if he will negotiate.

The is2000 will ride better than most other ztr mowers out there, but every ztr mower I have ever ran kicked up a lot of dust. You may want to invest in aome medical masks to cover your mouth and nose while mowing or you will eat a lot of dust.
