I just bought a so called used CC30E, it had .9 hours on it, from an estate. The man used it to get his mail, never mowed with it.
It works and runs great. I tried it on a now dormant lawn, but it only used 1 bar on the entire front lawn. I did notice if the blades were not engaged, it was super silent. I could actually sneak up on my dog unnoticed. But I also could come around a corner and find my noisy grandchildren, not seeing or hearing me. This thing does move fast. So I added an electric horn, just under the front bumper, running off some AA batteries in a waterproof box. The button is on the yellow plastic cowling at the base of the steering wheel, next to the park brake. I can push the button with my hand or even my knee, before I go zipping around the corner, just to be safe. Cost me under $10, with the horn and battery box from eBay, and the button from Home Depot. Drilled 2 holes, 1 for the horn, 1 for the button, some adhesive velcro holds the battery box inside the cover out of sight. Fun to beep at the kids, and the neighbors on their gas mowers. This replaced my 15 year old Husqvarna with over 3,000 hours on the engine. I think every weld on that thing rusted. Well it has a new life at my son-inlaws, pulling the kids in a wagon. I would like to buy the arm rests next, but $100 bucks for plastic arm rests is a bit much. I also did find a holder for my Iphone that will fit with 2 screws, $6 on ebay. Any one wants pictures contact me
