I'm in Caledonia, Michigan, on a bit over 3 acres. About 2 of that gets mowed.
Current mower, new last year, is a Cub Cadet Z-Force 48.
It replaced a Sears Craftsman 42" cut Hydro mower I'd had since April 1994 and which has done nearly 2,000 hours now. It's now spared from lawn mowing duties, and reserved for things like spraying, pulling the wee trailer, and most importantly running the 40" snowblower that goes on the front of it during the Winter to handle our 500' long driveway and a snowfall that averages over 70 inches, and the last few years has been over 100".
I also have a 1948 Farmall Cub with a variety of implements - the most commonly used is the mid-mounted blade.
Cheers
Roger
