None that I am aware of from anyone I know with them everyone seems to like them really well, I know I drove one last wed and that thing was nice, but kinda weird feeling though with the diesel engine behind me and the floor board looks weird without a e-brake there.
What year model if yours?

Well if you really like the mower and it is in good shape I would fix it, but the newer ones are really nice so I would also consider trading in for a new one.

My 997 wheel motor failed...the seal was torn from some fishing line type mesh netting. I bought a new wheel motor and a seal kit....could not afford the down time to replace the seals . so I put the new motor on....and will repair the old one this fall when things slow down a little.....new wheel motor was 1000.00.....pricey.......you may be able to get a replacement through Parker.......

I know what you are saying with that nylon line/string/rope/twine, anything nylon well mess up seals which in turn lets dirt into the bears. I'v had nylon baling twine wreck the seals and bearings in a spindle on a mower before. Glad you got it out working again.
