98 Scotts 19 hp 46in deck, clutch noise??

Hey folks , I just got a 98 Scotts mower in really good shape . Only issue is that when I release the clutch it makes a noise coming from the drive belt area... kinda smells like burning rubber I'm thinking the belts maybe bad ?? Are the pulleys its on adjustable? I'm new to this mower and have always had craftsman so any help would be great! Thanks a lot

Most likely a siezed idler pulley, which means it has already damaged the drive belt, which should be changed also.

I'll check it today thanks ! And also what's a good place to order parts for the older Scotts mowers ? Aka Murray . I know Murray went under so I'm hoping parts are still available. I also need a new steering spindle that the front tire gos on and bushings for the wheels.
