I have the pilot bearing near the sheave gear go out. I have replace both pilot bearings and started mowing and the pto clutch started howling. Unit has 800 hrs . Which I think is bad. I have a new oem clutch, but asking the experts if I should buy the stub shaft and replace both at the same time.
