8270 No spark

[OutBack Small Engine]

I have an 8270 Lawnboy.
I have tested the coil and get 2.5 OHMs which the manual says is with in range, But I still have no spark.
Ive checked all the wires even tried different spark plugs.
Any ideas what I'm missing ??

Checking a coil these days with an OHM meter doesn’t mean they are good. The internal trigger modular cannot be tested without expensive equipment. If you remove the kill wire on the coil, that is properly gapped, and have no spark the coil is bad.
