Just in case you were wondering what the operating oil pressure is on one of these engines, here you go. Engine has 6.5 hours and had it's required 5 hour oil/filter change so it should be a good baseline for testing different weights of oil and aftermarket filters.. Oil is Kohler 10w-30 and filter is Kohler 12-050-01S. Ambient temp was 83 degrees.
As you can see, the pressure drop from cold to hot is about 2 PSI.
