I have a B&S / 650 series engine On a Poulan pro self propelled mower.
If there is a primer bulb on this engine, does it replace the thermostat choke?

If it has a primer then there is no choke.. If it has a choke then no primer bulb. But you cannot remove the choke and add a primer because the choke carb may not have the required plumbing to operate the primer.
