I have the following Briggs that I need a new carbrator on. The parts manual shows 2. 1 with a primmer system and one with a regular choke. The one I have has the regular choke. Can I put the one with the primmer on there and it work properly?

Thanks

it is surging, and will not idle smoth. It is on a DR powered wheelbarrel, that was allowed to get in really bad shape, and crode before I got it. i rebuilt it 2 years and it has run "OK" but never reall great. This thing has a pull behind seat I added to it, and my wife uses it, so it needs to run right. Tired of messing with it, so just going to replace carb.

The briggs dealer lookup site is only giving the part number for the choke carb by type number Part number is 697914 the primer system may also require you to change the air filter mount if you go with a primer system.
