I have a 54" zero turn Mustang and the ignition key does not stay in the switch while driving. I am looking for a better replacement switch. I have been starting the mower and removing the key so I don't lose it again. It's a good thing they come with a tag or I would have never found it..

Any suggestions?

You need to replace the ignition switch.

Get a new switch with a new key sounds like yours it worn

Sounds like the delta plastic key switch. And the key hole wallowing out is normal over time.

Yep that is the issue.

Looking for suggestions on a better switch that is plug and play?
