We're trying to prepare our Snapper 21" walk behind mower (RP21500) for the summer and it looks like we'll have to replace the air filter housing. However, the housing part number 494735, was replaced by 494670 which is obsolete and no longer available. The mower has a Briggs and Stratton 5 HP engine (124802-3210-01).
Does anyone know if the housing with the air prime bulb would work if we replaced the bulb with a plug? We got that impression from a Amazon comment and haven't been able to confirm it. The part number for the housing with the bulb is 496116, superseded by 795259.
