459-60401 Mower - Questions

I just purchased a used Craftsman 459-60401 1A296B60154 DOM 01/2016 and I was hoping someone could tell if it was built in Jan 2016? How do I find out the horse power. I see a number of YouTube videos on the Craftsman R1000, but I want to be sure I am watching ones on my unit. If I order parts, it would be nice to order parts that fit. It does not have a bagger, so I have been wondering if I should cover the output area so it mulches, get a bagger or make a bagger? Any suggestions? Should I have it so it will cut in reverse? It seems like just what I need.

Model numbers are not working. Both of them cume up bad numbers. DOM=Date of Manufacture.

Engine is a 12.9 horse power. :smile:
