Hello Guys: The original problem was if I primed it, it would run until the prim was gone and run out of gas and quit. I took the carburetor and gas tank assembly off and found the O-ring and plastic retainer had slid down the shaft away from the carburetor. I put the O-ring an the retainer back on the carburetor and put the carburetor and gas tank assembly back on the lawn mower. Now I can't get the mower to start even when I prime it. I took the plug out and I have plenty of spark. It has just as much spark as my other push mower. I looked at the fly wheel key to see if it was twisted. It is undamaged and where it should be. I don't understand if it has spark and it has gas and it's in time why doesn't it start long enough to burn off the prime?
Than you in advance for your help.
Steve
I finally had time to look at this better. I took the gas tank and carb off and found the gas was half water. I still don't know where it came from but it's running now. Thank you all for taking the time to look at my problem.
