Mower is difficult to start. Mower use to surge after warmed up when mowing the lawn. Now mower will run and mow lawn at first when engine is cold, and then it dies. When I get the mower started again it will run in the driveway but as soon as I put it on the lawn it dies. The lawn is not wet and is not too tall. It is a 2010.
Post sears model number as well as all numbers from engine data plate. Remove spark plug for safety. I would first adjust valves with engine cold. Make sure oil is clean & on full mark. Turn mower on its side with carburetor side up & clean underside of deck & remove blade, clean & inspect for cracks, being bent, etc. or replacement. Also check air filter for replacement.
