I have had a snapper model 3313 for years and it has a foot rest that must remain pushed down to keep the blade engaged. In pictures I notice that the old comet models seem not to have this. So my question is - what takes its place and how well does that system work? Also I saw one with a side mounted gas tank - was that common? Thank you for indulging a new guy. Charlie
