does the primer plunger get tight after priming? I just read a post that that the carb is probley plugged up in the carb. i cleaned the screen in the carb with no luck what else can i do?

the most common symptom of a clogged carb or fuel filter is you push the primer bulb in and it doesn't come back out. When working properly it should fill with fuel. If you appear to be sucking air, then most likely there is a check valve stuck open, and those are about impossible to unstick, and in most cases requires replacing the carb.
