I have a Craftsman DYT 4000 mower with a 25 HP Briggs engine. It ran fine for the first few hours and then would sputter and die. If I held the choke it would continue to run, but eventually die. When I started it again it ran normally for a short period of time, until the same thing happened. The time periods of running eventually got shorter and shorter to the point where it will only run for 30 seconds on full chock and then die. This seems like and easy fix, but I don't know want to start replacing parts until I find the right one. Please help!
Thanks,
Chip

Start by cleaning the carb, then clean out the fuel tank and lines making sure you have clean fuel, then retry it.
