When pushing down on handle when putting mower in shed and when picking up on mower to turn mower when in shed handle goes to far backward and to far forward
The handle is hooked on a couple of pins at the bottom. There should be cotter pins and washers down on the pins to hold the handles tight to the outside. When it is in the correct place it catches on the bracket on the frame down there to prevent the handle from going too far in either direction. that's my story ....I hope that makes since.
Most of the new poulan mowers have the pin at the bottom to hook the handle to, but just above that pin is a short carriage bolt to bolt the handle to the frame.
