2019 Bad Boy MZ 42 vs 2018 Scag Liberty Z 48

I picked up two zero turn mowers this weekend at an auction, with the intent to sell one of them.

The first was a 2019 Bad Boy MZ 42 with only 97hrs and the other was a Scag Liberty Z 48 with 803hrs.

I've never had a ZT and am hoping with proper maintenance, keep the one that's going to give the least amount of issues. I'm seeing some not so great reviews on the BB but I'm concerned with the hours on the Scag.

Which way would you lean?

BB - 19HP Kohler
Scag - Kawasaki (I think 21HP)

10-4, I guess commom sense would say the low hour unit.. But there are many other things to consider..

I have a 48 Scag & am really digging it. But that is my personal preference. I'm not into BB, but that's me.

That's the dilemma...hard to pass up on the low hours but if it's going to be problem after problem... How many hours on your Scag? I hear they're about as good as it gets.

Agree about the hours. They are all good when they run right.. I've had no issues so far.

Mine only has 47.2 hours on it.. Some would say not even broken in yet.. I just mow my personal place. Bought new in May of '21.

Might wanna test run each one & see which ya like better..
