2016 Hustler Raptor 48SD battery replacement.

My Raptors battery is shot. I bought it as a leftover in 2017. It had a NAPA battery in it. It was not the correct one. Manual calls for a U1R. Got to battery supplier and it is a U1L. The old one only had 175 cc’s. Manual called for 225 cc’s. I bought what it seems like the manual called for U1r. So the only difference is the post. Right vs left positive.

It will not fit. The battery box is big enough but it will not slide into box. It hits the frame. Any experience with this? Hate to get the smaller battery again.

Return the battery while you can, and get a battery with the correct size, CCA and post config.

NAPA, and on-line battery sources like BatteryJack, sell batteries by physical dimension.
