Looking to upgrade to a ZTR and my budget is around $3,500.
My local dealer has a new 2015 Hustler RSD 48" with the Kawasaki FR691V engine and a 2017 RSD 48" with the Kohler 7000 engine. He's not willing to work much on price so they'll be fairly comparable.
Looking for feedback, should I go with the older model to get the Kawasaki or have other things been improved in the 2017 model that will balance out the Kohler engine? Thanks!

i would really avoid the kohler. the kawasaki is a better engine.

I would lean towards the Kawasaki too unless that unit has done a lot of time outside..... I'm not sure where you live or what the weather is like but even in a crate time could take a little bit of a toll I would think.

I hadn't even thought of the storage. I'm in Mass so I'll have to find out if it's been inside for the last 2yrs.
