2008 I1042 oil light at 50 hours

The light for the oil has come on and is flashing, the read out on the hour meter seems to be saying chg oil but I did that after I bought it at 44 hours?

If it is flashing change oil, most of the timers are set to turn off the warning with about 5, maybe less, hours of operation.
