I am new here and need some repair advice. My 2007 Troy-Bilt RZT 42" with B&S engine formed a small puddle of oil underneath the engine after I first started it up after a long cold winter.
I have changed the oil about a year ago and am wondering this: The elbow that comes from the engine that is fitted with the oil drain plug....Should this connection be loose at the engine? I can move this fitting elbow (part number 737-0125) freely in a vertical position. I believe this is the source of my leak. Can I just remove it at the engine and plug the hole?
Thanks in advance for any help.
