I've got a 2007 rider, 42"deck/17.5 HP
I changed the blade engage cable a week ago or so...it mowed now nothing. No click, no crank not a thing. I've tried looking on line but not seeing anything more than what I've done.
It also will now die when I put in reverse even though I've "disengaged" the blades...yes they are still turning. I've looked at the pulley system to engage the blade and it does move and release. This make me think it has something to do with the cable I replaced...it SEEMED to go well and it did mow after but would die in reverse.
So far I've changed starter, battery and unplugged the seat kill switch but it's like it's sensing the mower blades are engaged so it won't start. Replaced the solenoid 2 yrs ago.
any ideas?
