Hello Everybody from North Louisiana. Brand New Member. A friend pulled my "new mower" out of the woods at his brother-in-law's place. I bought a new battery, blades and blade belt for my 2006 MTD Yard Machines Tecumseh 15.5 HP 42" cut riding mower. Mowed my yard twice and so far, no problems. Runs like a top. Has not used any oil yet. Did put in brand new HD30 oil and put in a new fuel filter. Will have to get a new air filter next. Might leave the old spark plug in for a while longer because it runs so good, but will get a new replacement plug to keep till needed. Did take the tires off my old mower rims and put them on my new mower and gas cap too. Looking forward to learning more by joining your group.

Thank you for the welcome. Glad to be here. Maybe I can lean some new tips and ideas to keep my mower running like a top, so I don't have to push mow this acre.
