Hello, new to the group and need some guidance. 2006 Flatlander with 27hp Generac GTV 760 is leaking oil from the crankshaft seal on the flywheel side after warming up for a few minutes. I have replaced the crankshaft seal twice and it's still leaking. What could cause the oil pressure to build up enough to force the oil through the upper seal? Could the crankshaft bearing be worn enough to allow oil through?

Thanks!

If it is you looking at replacing the crankcase as Generac SM says that is the corrective action.

Yikes! ok, I am going to break it down again and check the reject dimensions on the crank and journal.

Thanks!

Check your crankcase ventilation system. If it's not relieving pressure, that can blow out the seals.
