Had to have the trans axle rebuilt, which was no problem for my garage monkeys..My problem is where do the springs go now that we have it almost put back together and more importantly this mower is supposed to have 7 different speeds. Mine has 1-slow...how do I adjust this?

On some of the MTD parts diagrams they will have like an A pointing to a spring, and then someplace else in a diagram they will have that same A pointing at the frame or some other place That is the connection point for that spring. Might help and may not
