Does anyone have experience removing a Kohler Command CV20 engine from a '03 Lazer Z HP mower. The engine is smoking and I need to remove the head to look for a bad Reed Valve. Only 460 hours on the engine.

I finished the head gasket job about 10 days ago and no need to remove the engine. My engine has head bolts not nuts and head studs. I did not have to remove the ROPS either. The job was not too difficult but I did take lots of pictures and viewed a You Tube video. You may have to remove the ROPS if an engine has nuts and head studs.
